Azure Blob Storage

A cloud object storage solution for unstructured data such as images and backups.

Use access tiers (Hot, Cool, Archive) to optimize costs based on data access frequency. Frequently accessed data should be in the Hot tier; infrequently accessed or archived data can be moved to Cool or Archive tiers to reduce costs. Common use cases include storing raw input data, training data, or model checkpoints. Example: A healthcare organization stores medical images (X-rays, MRIs) in Blob Storage for ML models to identify health issues.
