Collaborative filtering

Collaborative filtering is a recommendation technique that combines user ratings and behavioral data to predict preferences. Netflix uses it alongside content-based filtering to personalize content recommendations. It leverages patterns from many users to suggest items a user might like based on similar users' preferences.
