Remote repository

A remote repository is a version of the project hosted on a server (e.g., GitHub) that enables backup, sharing, and collaboration. In this lesson, the local repository is pushed to a remote GitHub repository using 'git push'. The remote is added via 'git remote add origin <URL>'.
